Languages
Gujarati and Hindi carry most of a Surat room, with English for the corporate segments. Surat is mixed enough — Saurashtrian, Marwari, Bhojpuri, South Gujarat — that a host who only speaks one of those loses half the floor.
Travelling to Surat
A few hours up the highway from Ahmedabad, or the train. Day events I travel for the same day; multi-function weddings I stay over. Travel and stay are billed at cost, never marked up.

Do you travel to Surat for weddings?
Yes. I am based in Ahmedabad and Surat is a regular run. Travel and stay are billed at cost.
Can you host a Surat sangeet in Gujarati and Hindi together?
Yes — that is usually what the room needs. Gujarati for the family, Hindi for the wider crowd, and I switch live rather than picking one and hoping.
Do you do corporate events in Surat?
Yes. Dealer nights, product launches, award evenings. I was a marketer for eight years before this, four at Red Bull, so the brand side of a run of show is not new ground.
